As promised in last week’s show, this episode is a little retrospective to the games of 2008 that eitehr left their mark on the PSP system, or acted as signposts to what can be achieved in 2009. I’m sure there’ll be titles here you wouldn’t expect, or disagree with – so feel free to add or edit your own in the comments.
You can listen and subscribe to The PSP Show in Apple’s iTunes – and leave your own review there as well. You also have the PSP Show’s Facebook Group, which can be found here

Okay the podcast is now officially unlistenable. Whoever is giving you the advice to put more music in the podcast is ruining the show!
It was annoying when background music was added to the news portion of the show, but at least it got quiet enough to hear the commentary. Now that the rest of the show has a Muzak mariachi band playing loud enough to completely overwhelm anything being said I have to quit listening and drop the podcast. To be fair I believe it is only played during the review, but I literally cannot understand a word being said to be certain.
Please go back to the original sound effects, and NO background music. Even the psp chime between segments is unnecessary, but at least it makes sense in context, and does not inhibit hearing the show.

@Smurgen: fixed.
You really chose the right games, the games that did it for the psp in 08.
Let’s see what we get this year, I hope more on PSStore!

I’ve seen that you can buy Flow on UMD now. Its a playstation network game and you get ‘Flow’ + ‘Beats’ + ‘Syphon Filter :Combat Ops’ all on one UMD! I’m going to the shops to purchase it soon
Another Great Show Ewan !

Smurgen, link was fixed rather sharpihs – hopefully no more complaints.
Liam, the PSN UMD’s are goig to be reivewed in #87
Kodess, glad you agreed.
Ken, thanks for the in-depth comment. I personally think it adds to the show, but I’ll run #87 with no music in the review portion of the show and specifically ask for listener comments – then everyone can pitch in and I’ll take that reaction on board.
