With the World Snooker Championships under way at the Crucible in Sheffield this week, it’s the perfect time to look at Sega’s updated World Snooker Challenge for the Playstation Portable. Just remember, you’ve got to pot as many balls as you can!

And don’t forget the demos of Lumines 2, Doko Demo Disho and NBA 07 (yes I know it’s a few weeks old, but I think I missed it!).

    YOU REALLY CAUGHT ME OFFGUARD….
    I didn’t know you had a DS….
shame on you Ewan… a DS, who would have thought that from are great podcasting friend…

    LOL
just a question; why do you have a DS?

    (how I knew it… http://www.ewanspence.com/ds)

  4. Ewan Says:

I’ve a Defender styled MAME Cabinet as well…

…for the same reason. I love games, gaming, and stuff like that. You’d be amazed some of the arcane gaming consoles I have here.

  5. Miles Pieri Says:

As well as the new demos you mentioned on the show, there’s also a new LocoRoco demo (yes, another one!) which makes 5 now. Not quite sure why Sony feel the need to offer quite so many levels from one, albeit very entertaining, game when there are so many others they could be offering trial version of.
You can get it here: http://www.pspdemocenter.com/

now that is cool, I like arcade games! :D
I just don’t like fake games, games with NO replay value at all…(like the nintendo stuff, xcept zelda)

  7. whoelse Says:

yeah thats why the PSP rules :P

  8. codess Says:

Does anyone know a good DVD Ripper that rips the subtitles too? cause DVD Decrypter doesn’t, and xilisoft DVD Ripper, won’t do it in PSP format FULL Screen…

  9. Ewan Says:

Codess, have a look around for an archived copy of DVDShrink – you can select the subtitle track (and audio track) of the rip, and then convert the resulting VOB file into PSP format using your favourite tool.

  10. Miles Pieri Says:

Codess, are you looking to rip directly from DVD to PSP format? I rip DVDs with PSP Movie Creator (full version) and don’t have a problem including the subs. Oddly enough, if I rip a region 2 disc the only issue I have is it insists on including English subtitles even if the film is already in English.
